Wk beg Jan 16th ( Tuesday) P6F Homework

16th Jan 2024

Hello everyone,

It is lovely to be back!

I am so very proud of the class for their hard work, team mindset, manners and work ethic last week while I was off sick.  Work set for the week has been completed with the sub teacher.

homework for this week -
a day late - apologies.

  1. Spellings - fully words - complete activities.  Learn first 10 words. All children - must be able to read or pick out the word if called out to them, if spelling is tricky for them. I will have missing letter activities for them to try for this list this week.  Differentiated spellings commence next week.
  2.  Comprehension - what makes me move? Highlight as taught - both questions and then passage. Key points only. Answer in full sentences.  Neat handwriting and punctuation.

3. Page 2 and 3 multiplication and division booklet.

4. maths activities - greater / less than, perimeter revision, fraction of a number ( division or reverse tables) complete on the pages.

5. Reading of a book, article, magazine with an adult as paired reading and discussion.  15 minutes per day.

Remember Thursday is strike day. Please refer to website for info.

PE - back to Wednesdays 2-3 pm.

Open nights - please see post Primary School websites for dates and times.  It is good for P6 and P7 children to visit these this year.
