Wellbeing Research with P7

13th Nov 2024

In 2023, Braidside Integrated Primary School took part in the first sweep of the Wellbeing in Northern Ireland School’s (WiNIS) study, a longitudinal survey of children’s wellbeing across primary schools in Northern Ireland. Our pupils who were in Primary 5 from September 2022-June 2023 completed the first WiNIS survey. These pupils, now in Primary 7, are being re-invited to complete a Primary 7 version of the survey for the second sweep of this study to explore the factors influencing their wellbeing and how it has changed from Primary 5 to Primary 7. Ultimately, this research aims to follow this cohort over the course of their school years (i.e., primary and post-primary, 8-16 years) to further understand and promote children’s wellbeing in Northern Ireland.

Below you will find an information sheet for parents, which I encourage you to read carefully.
