Christmas Holidays! We had a great turnout at the Christmas Disco and hope the children enjoyed the evening. Thanks to the Parents Group for their organisation and supervision, to the DJ, to staff who helped at the tuck shop, to Debbie and Linda who dealt with tickets and to Stephen, our caretaker. School will close on Friday 19th December at 12:15pm and re-open on Monday 5th January 2026.Wishing you all a very peaceful and Happy Christmas!J McAuley

Visit from Michelle MULLAN, local author and teacher.

Braidside today had a very special visit from Michelle MULLAN, author of Leonard Lion is Brave.  The children enjoyed listening to her story and discussing what inspired her to become a writer.  

We thank you, Michelle for spending 2 hours with us - we thoroughly enjoyed all you had to say and have been inspired by your book.  


We look forward to the other 4 stories… and of course the Adventures of Blue- P6 can help you with that one!
