P7 Applying for a Post-Primary School Place
Dear P7 parents,
The Education Authority (EA) have informed schools that a number of resources are being prepared to guide parents of P7 children who will be transferring to post-primary school in September 2021.
Attached for your attention is a copy of an information leaflet, "Applying for a Post-Primary Place". This leaflet is not relevant for those pupils with a statement of special educational needs.
We appreciate this has been a challenging year for our P7 pupils and parents, as they try to navigate choosing their post-primary preferences, with lockdown circumstances and a new online process. We will be here to help parents and will have further information of help available after half-term.
A post-primary Application Tutorial Video-Desktop view" providing a step-by-step guide to the online application is now available and a mobile phone view will follow shortly. You can access the videos at https://www.eani.org.uk/school-management/ea-digital-admissions-online-resource-hub/videos-presentations
Materials are also accessible on the EA website: https://www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions/admissions-videos-and-guidance
Applications will be accessible from 12noon on Mon 1 March until 4pm on Tues 16 March.
