Braidside Integrated Primary & Nursery School
Braidside Take 5 Day Next Wednesday 8th May we will hold our Take 5 day, with a sponsored walk on our grounds, a colouring/ poster competition, outdoor activities and "Beautiful Things" challenge. Pupils should ensure they are wearing trainers/ suitable footwear for their class walk. Sponsor sheets have been distributed to all classes and hopefully children have been getting support from family and friends. We are focusing on wellbeing, sun awareness and celebrating national walking month. #take5#stepstowellbeing#connect#keeplearning#beactive#takenote#give | May Day Holiday School will be closed on Monday 6th May for the May Day holiday.

Induction visit for the P2’s in P1/2B

It was so lovely to welcome the P2’s from our class back to school today. They really enjoyed seeing their new classroom and getting a tour around the new school. I look forward to them starting back to school on Tuesday 1st September.

Remember to read the Restart Guidance on the website, it has lots of information about returning to school. You will also want to check this document for your child’s start time. It is very important that the children only arrive at the designated time and not before.

There is also a short document on our class page specific to P1’s return to school and their finishing times throughout the month of September. The P2’s are looking forward to meeting the rest of their class and they will be great at making sure the P1’s are happy and settle in their new class.

Myself and Caroline are looking forward to working with all the children in P1/2B this year.
