Today we investigated the process of mummification that the Ancient Egyptians used on dead bodies. We scooped out the inside of a tomato to see how it felt to remove internal organs. We then used NATRON, a mixture of salt and baking soda, to mummify the outside of the tomatoes and chopped apples. Now we wait to see what happens next!
