Parent Interviews: Feb 2026 Parent Interviews will take place from Mon 2nd - Thurs 5th Feb in school. Appointment times will go home this week. Mummification in P5O

Today we investigated the process of mummification that the Ancient Egyptians used on dead bodies. We scooped out the inside of a tomato to see how it felt to remove internal organs. We then used NATRON, a mixture of salt and baking soda, to mummify the outside of the tomatoes and chopped apples. Now we wait to see what happens next!
