So today in Communication, we learned how to Hot Seat a character. Some of us were very familiar with this skill as we go to Drama school. The class did brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed DAY 2, post Remote Learning!
We brought in props to help us switch into character. We looked at quality questioning- the important features of both open and closed questions. We looked at evidence in the passage to support our opinion but best of all we have FUN with our imagination in taking the story much further than the writer did!
Writer's devices, personification, simile, repetition, colloquialisms were all studied!
As the lesson drew to a close, Some felt quite warm- question is- were we being over dramatic? 🙃😊.
