Activities for homework
1. Spelling list each day.
2. 2 words to look up in dictionary and record definition on back of spelling page. These words are marked with a d by the chn for dictionary/ definition. SHEAVES WHARVES we discussed these (Wednesday) and looked up pictures for examples.
This week we will also look at exception to the plural rule of change f/ fe to ves.
3. times tables revision. Two times tables pages. Please use schedule planner to help spread these out over the week as suits.
4. Reading at home. 15 minutes per day. Can you identify the genre, author and illustrator?
Spelling test on Friday and tables quiz. X2 tables
This week the children are having a go at the full list or a chosen 10. This has been discussed in class with the pupils. This week we are looking for progress and good attempts at sounds and spelling pattern (ves) as opposed to 100% accuracy.
