Homework beginning 29th Sept 2025

 Good afternoon everyone, 

Homework this week for P6F  - completed for Thursday. Friday spelling and tables test. 

1. Spellings - ed past tense - regular verbs 
2. Tables x5 pages 
3. reading - 3 nights 
4. Grammar - 2 pages to complete on common and proper nouns 
5. Comprehension - dictionary skills activity is the focus in the comprehension activity.  

Info - 
45 minutes max each day. 

please return all spelling test books tomorrow 

please supply a box of tissues per pupil for class hygiene 

Please sign spelling sheet by Thursday am. All lists should be completed and two activities.  This page is needed each day in school for our study work done as a class, daily. Pupils will be tested on either 5,10,15 words. 


Guided Reading (groups) commences in class this week. Reading has been on short texts, studying genre of books, fiction and non fiction, looking at encyclopaedias, topic books and novels. We have looked at similarities and differences of their structure.

Mr Stink is our current class novel of which many of our literacy skills are based during the week. 

TWAU topic EXTREME EARTH  Please direct your child to any news reports on tv or radio regarding extreme weathers or natural disasters around the world.  This can even be done as part of paired reading. 

Swimming - 2 weeks left  - please ensure long hair is tied back.
