Braidside Take 5 Day Next Wednesday 8th May we will hold our Take 5 day, with a sponsored walk on our grounds, a colouring/ poster competition, outdoor activities and "Beautiful Things" challenge. Pupils should ensure they are wearing trainers/ suitable footwear for their class walk. Sponsor sheets have been distributed to all classes and hopefully children have been getting support from family and friends. Fun and rainbow adventures all in the name of active travel!

We got our Sustrans active travel programme off to a great start this week by commencing our first week of the back school challenge and walking, biking and scooting to school. To mark our success in this we held our ’rainbow bling day’ today and it was just lovely to see the joy in the children’s faces as they relished being active throughout the day. Well done everyone! The challenge continues throughout the month of October and we look forward to seeing you all scooting, biking and walking to school as much as possible!
