First News - Newspaper & Activities

Hello everybody. 
During the last lockdown, you will remember that every week, I added links on our school website for the First News Newspaper and associated comprehensions, puzzles and quizzes. This is an invaluable literacy resource, for which we pay a substantial amount of money, and I would encourage you all to make use of it. Level 1 activities are at an easier level and ideal for less enthusiastic readers, level 2 provides more reading and thinking skills, level 3 being best for those readers who really require a challenge (and most likely will suit some children in P6/P7). Your child’s class teacher may direct your child to a specific task based on First News, and if so, this website is where you will find the weekly uploads. Thank you. Happy Reading.
