Dust off those book shelves and wheels and get ready for our active travel book swap!

On Friday 6th March we are hosting an active travel book swap as part of our World book day celebrations. Children are asked to walk, cycle or scoot to school and bring in their schoolbag, one preloved book in good condition from home to swap with a fellow classmate. The children will share their book with their friend in class and it will hopefully mean that all children will get to take home a new book for them on Friday afternoon. Please encourage your child/children to wear helmets where possible and practice good road safety measures. Children are also asked to park their bikes/scooters in the designated areas either in bike shelters or properly outside their classroom. The sun is set to shine so hopefully it will be a lovely day to dust off those bikes, scooters and books and enjoy some time outside.
