What a show! What a night!
Last Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th December we were proud to present the Braidside IPS production of "Cinderella Rockerfella" in Slemish College. Mums, Dads and families packed into the College Assembly Hall eagerly awaiting the performances after 4/5 weeks of intense rehearsals and preparations. Excitement backstage was at fever pitch, with everyone keen to give their very best across the 2 nights. With approximately 130 children involved in the cast and choir, we could not have been more proud of them all. They were outstanding and rightly deserved all the applause at the end of the performances. We hope this will be an experience they will always remember and enjoy.
Thank you to all the teachers, classroom assistants, office staff, Stanley and the staff/ students of Slemish College, in particular Mr Bennett and Darren the caretaker who assisted us both nights.
Thank you to the parents and families for supporting the children; through learning lines, songs and providing costumes and being present in the audience.
Finally thank you to our pupils.... you were superstars!
