Braidside Integrated Primary & Nursery School
Braidside Take 5 Day Next Wednesday 8th May we will hold our Take 5 day, with a sponsored walk on our grounds, a colouring/ poster competition, outdoor activities and "Beautiful Things" challenge. Pupils should ensure they are wearing trainers/ suitable footwear for their class walk. Sponsor sheets have been distributed to all classes and hopefully children have been getting support from family and friends. We are focusing on wellbeing, sun awareness and celebrating national walking month. #take5#stepstowellbeing#connect#keeplearning#beactive#takenote#give | May Day Holiday School will be closed on Monday 6th May for the May Day holiday.

Choir Perform at UTU Conference

On Friday 15th March our school choir attended the UTU Conference at the Roe Park Resort in Limavady. The children performed 2 songs for the conference and we were so very proud of them. They sang beautifully and were such a credit!
The choir had been working hard throughout this term,to prepare with Mrs Horan, Miss Laverty and Mrs Fenton, who accompanied the children on piano. During the past year, Mrs Fenton has been seconded as UTU President and we were delighted at the opportunity to perform at their conference. Afterwards the children enjoyed some lovely treats together before coming back to school on the bus.
