What a busy two weeks we have had! What a way to end September!
We baked soda breads and we compared and contrasted recipes online to that of Mrs Fulton’s. We read the steps of each recipe, the ingredients and the weight. We used our scales to measure classroom items and ingredients.
We have been missing our friend Cara who has been off with an injury for a few weeks. We made her a card and sent her a small gift. Please see our short video wishing her well!
We have been studying “Little People, Big Dreams” as part of our reading activities for September. One of the people we have enjoyed learning about is Beatrix Potter. We have read some of the books and watched a short documentary on the life of Beatrix. We used iPads to screenshot six images as part of our digital storyboard to create an adventure story based on Dormouse.
It has been an active five weeks, but fun!
