Braidside children and staff have the privilege of embarking on a new partnership for this school year. We are on the Primary Partnership Programme with Nerve Centre, Belfast.
Staff and pupils are learning new skills and developing our creative learning activities, using Computational Thinking, Unplugged activities and Coding with apps.
We hope you enjoy seeing what we have all been doing across both key stages.
P6F have been drawing Crazy Characters and writing algorithms for friends to follow. Do you notice our crazy outfits that day ? We had such fun seeing how our friends followed our verbal instructions - many of our algorithms needed editing!
We then decided to write an algorithm for a Scarab Beetle design - a design of our choosing. We used images online and from books. We drafted and tested an algorithm. Amendments were made where needed- though we were much more efficient at writing our algorithms at this stage.
