Hi boys and girls, I hope you had a good day on Tuesday. We had some technical difficulties with our numeracy assignment on Tuesday as it wouldn’t show in the assignment for all of you but would show up for me!!! Hopefully we won’t have any problems on Wednesday. If you ever have any problems downloading worksheets on teams remember to go to the school website as I also put our work on there every evening too. Thank you for the World Book Day activities. I’m enjoying seeing such a variety of work.
Our plan for Wednesday, 3rd March is as follows
Session 1 – Numeracy
New Waves Mental Maths – Pg 15 (Wed). I will post the answers on Wednesday afternoon.
Multiplying by 5 interactive game. Play any of the games to practise your 5 times tables.
Mental Maths strategy – Try out the quiz on multiplying by 10 quickly in your assignment section.
Subtracting HTU’s sheet with exchanging 10’s and 100’s – (Watch video, complete sheet and hand in) (Assignment) I was so pleased with the work you did on Tuesday. You managed exchanging the 100’s and the 10’s so well.
Session 2 – Literacy.
World Book Day Activity
Listen to some more of the Horrid Henry Story (If I can get the video uploaded!!!!!!!! lol)
Read, read and read some more. For guided reading read a book of your choice. Pick a book that you love to read. I will arrange a guided reading live lesson for everyone on Thursday. It would be great if everyone could join me as Thursday is World Book Day.
Pick an activity from the World Book Day activities posted on the school website. Remember you can do more than one activity. Post your completed task or tasks to the assignment. Remember, if the tasks don’t open on teams then go to the school website as they are all posted there. I will set up a new assignment for you to post Wednesday’s work.

Once you have watched the videos try the worksheet in your assignment.
