Hi boys and girls, I hope you had a good day on Monday. Thank you for the World Book Day activities. I loved seeing the photos of you reading in different places and also the video recordings of you reading.
Our plan for Tuesday, 2nd March is as follows
Session 1 – Numeracy
New Waves Mental Maths – Pg 14 (Tues). I will post the answers on Tuesday afternoon.
Multiplying by 5 interactive game. Play any of the games to practise your 5 times tables.
Mental Maths strategy – I hope you were able to watch the video on the quick method for multiplying by 10. Today I am going to post a multiplying by 10 worksheet for you to try mentally.
Subtracting HTU’s sheet with exchanging 10’s and 100’s – (Watch video, complete sheet and hand in) (Assignment)
Session 2 – Literacy.

Read, read and read some more.
Pick an activity from the World Book Day activities posted on the school website. Remember you can do more than one activity. Post your completed task to the assignment. Remember, if the tasks don’t open on teams then go to the school website as they are all posted there.
